5 New Controls

October 24, 2015

After re-implementing Korduene designer, these controls were considered and made sure that they were saved and loaded properly. However due to some issues like these controls have their own designer menus that so far I haven't been able to or had time to work around them. And now with the new Content window features we can work around that. So including these controls is long overdue.

Here are the controls:

ContextMenuStrip, MenuStrip, ToolStrip and StatusStrip

ErrorProvider
ErrorProvider is not included in the Toolbox, because it is used in a different way, so access is provided through the Graph.

Result

The Issue
The current issue with the first four mentioned controls is the designer menu, you will see that it's not the same as the other controls and can't create references and events directly from controls designer menu.

The Solution
The current solution for the issue is going to the content window and and right click on the control to create a reference or get events.

* Please note that currently you need to save your form first to be able to see all the controls to show in the Content window.

Hi Folkert,Korduene might be having trouble accessing the confg file, make sure Korduene can read and write to it, same for the directory that contains the confg file, or backup the folder and delete it, and another thing is make sure you have latest version of .NET framework installed.Antivrus warnings are because Korduene currently doesn't have a certificate, this will hopefully be fixed with the stable release.Due to lack of time I rarely update the setup file, and since Korduene downloads the latest updates anyway that won't be an issue, I'll try to update it when I have some time.Let me know if your issue has been resolved.

Hi RebinI tried both your tips but it did not work. Reinstalling Korduene caused a warning from Avira firewall. I ignored the warning and cintinued the install. But the home screen of Korduene still won't show. The download on Souceforge.net is still from may 2015?Regardsfolkert

Thanks for your support guys, you're awesome!@Folkert, Go to "C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\Korduene" and delete Korduene.confg file, if this doesn't help, uninstall Korduene, go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Korduene" and make sure every file is deleted, then reinstall Korduene again.Let me know if this works for you.
